About This Role
CAE USA is hiring a Global 6500 instructor pilot in Dothan to deliver simulator and ground-school training and later qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and contract check airman. The role includes instruction, briefings, training records and courseware support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types as assigned for the issue of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
- Responsible for conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner in accordance with CAE standards.
- Other required administrative duties.
- Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in creation of curricula and courseware when required.
Requirements
- Hold or meets qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Jet Type Rating
- Prior Part 142 TCE experience recommended
- CFII/MEI experience recommended
- A passion for teaching others through strong communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
- Experience flying business aircraft is a plus
