About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Global 6000 Captain to join an operation at KOXC, Waterbury-Oxford Airport, in Oxford, Connecticut. The role supports the safe and expert delivery of clients' travel needs and calls for a standout colleague who pursues excellence while working within Solairus' culture of safety, service and integrity. The posting lists crewmember pay of $50,000 to $500,000, varying with geographic area, experience, equipment or aircraft, job duties, training and the assigned account.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Global 6000 and for conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual, Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Duties include reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status
- conducting the proper pre-flight inspection
- checking weather and facilities along the route and at the airports to be used, including alternate airports
- ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations
- ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork under current procedures.

Requirements
- The posting specifies 3,000 hours of total time, 1,500 hours of PIC time, 1,500 hours of multi-engine land (MEL) time, 500 hours of MEL PIC time, 500 hours of turbojet time and 250 hours of instrument time.
- The position requires a type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft and a first-class medical.
- The Captain must be able to work on an on-call basis, complete ICAO international procedures training annually, and maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOXC or be willing to relocate.
