About This Role
Priester Aviation is seeking a G280 First Officer/Second in Command based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The SIC supports the PIC with flight planning, weather and routing analysis, aircraft performance calculations, inspections, navigation, communications, CRM, safety management, emergency response, post-flight documentation, and passenger service. The role requires a commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine instrument privileges or higher, a current First-Class Medical Certificate, 500–2,500 total flight hours including at least 100 hours in multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft, and the ability to report to the departure airport within 60 minutes for charter assignments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the PIC in planning and conducting flights, including weather analysis, route planning, aircraft performance calculations, pre-flight inspections, regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and adherence to the Flight Operations Manual.
- Monitor aircraft instruments and systems throughout flight, operate navigation and communication radios as directed, obtain clearances, and relay instructions.
- Maintain effective crew coordination and communication, provide feedback to the PIC and other crew members, and participate actively in the company Safety Management System to identify and mitigate risks.
- Support pre-flight inspections and ensure the aircraft is clean, stocked, and ready, with manuals, charts, catering, and passenger-specific items onboard.
- Complete post-flight procedures and documentation.
- Remain alert to abnormal situations, take control if the PIC is inattentive or incapacitated, and participate in safety audits, corrective action plans, and preventive measures.
- Assist passengers with their comfort and safety while supporting the PIC in delivering a high-quality flight experience.
Requirements

- turbine experience is preferred. Required certifications include a Commercial Pilot Certificate with a multi-engine instrument rating or higher and a current First-Class Medical Certificate. Candidates should understand FAA regulations and flight operations procedures, communicate effectively, make sound decisions, work well in a crew environment, and be proficient in CRM and flight management systems. Applicants must be able to report to the departure airport within 60 minutes for charter assignments, lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds when handling baggage and equipment, hold a valid passport, and travel for extended periods according to the flight schedule. The position is exempt and requires flexibility to meet business demands.
