About This Role
Priester Aviation is seeking a G200 First Officer/Second in Command based in Naples, Florida. The role supports the Pilot in Command with safe and efficient flight operations in the company’s Part 135 and Part 91 environment, including flight planning, aircraft monitoring, regulatory compliance, crew coordination, emergency readiness, and high-quality passenger service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the PIC with flight planning and execution, including weather analysis, routing, aircraft-performance calculations, and pre-flight inspections, while ensuring compliance with regulations, standard operating procedures, and the Flight Operations Manual.
- Monitor instruments and aircraft systems throughout all phases of flight, operate navigation and communication radios as directed, obtain clearances, and relay instructions.
- Maintain strong crew coordination and communication, provide feedback to the PIC and other crew members, and participate actively in the company Safety Management System to identify and mitigate risks.
- Support pre-flight inspections and ensure the aircraft is clean, stocked, and ready, with manuals, charts, catering, and passenger-specific items onboard.
- Assist with post-flight procedures and documentation.
- Remain alert to abnormal situations, take control if the PIC is inattentive or incapacitated, and participate in safety audits, corrective-action plans, and preventive measures.
- Assist with passenger service, comfort, safety, and individual needs to deliver a high-quality flight experience.
Requirements
- Applicants should have 1,000–2,500 total flight hours, including at least 100 hours in multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft
- turbine experience is preferred. A Commercial Pilot Certificate with a multi-engine instrument rating or higher and a current First-Class Medical Certificate are required. Candidates must have strong knowledge of FAA regulations and flight-operations procedures, excellent communication and decision-making skills, effective teamwork and CRM abilities, and proficiency with flight-management systems. The successful applicant must be able to report to the departure airport within 60 minutes for charter assignments, lift, push, or pull more than 50 pounds when handling baggage and equipment, hold a valid passport, and travel for extended periods as required by the flight schedule. This is an exempt position requiring flexibility to meet business demands.
