Northern Jet, a leading private aviation company with 31+ years of experience and an ARGUS Platinum safety rating, is seeking an experienced Pilot in Command (Captain) to operate their Gulfstream G150 based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role offers a unique opportunity to fly approximately 450+ hours annually under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations with a highly loyal client base and 99% retention rate. Candidates must have a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours with 1,500 PIC hours and current FAA ATPL license. The position provides competitive compensation with a base salary of $156,250 (total first-year compensation exceeding $175,000), an 8 days on/6 days off schedule, and comprehensive benefits including company-paid medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with 3% match, and industry travel discounts.
Requirements
- Minimum 3,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 hours PIC time
- Minimum 500+ hours multi-engine time
- Current First Class Medical Certificate
- Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) License
- No accidents, incidents, or warnings within past 5 years
- Thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures (Canada, Mexico, Caribbean)
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Maintain impeccable professional appearance
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
