About This Role
CAE Simuflite Inc is seeking a full-time Phenom Instructor Pilot in Las Vegas to deliver simulator and ground school training to military aviators preparing for critical missions. The instructor acts as a subject-matter expert, leads clients through training under applicable regulatory requirements, CAE-approved curricula, and customer standards, and maintains a professional, safe, and effective learning environment. After approximately 1.5 years, subject to business needs, designated instructors are expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Instructor Pilot delivers high-quality flight simulator and classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and pilot qualifications. Duties include conducting thorough and professional pre-flight and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards
- maintaining accurate training records
- tracking instructional qualifications
- recommending remedial training when required
- and serving as a subject-matter expert in the development and maintenance of curricula and courseware. The instructor provides a professional, welcoming, customer-focused learning environment while maintaining safety and instructional excellence. Based on business needs, designated instructors are expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after approximately 1.5 years.

Requirements
- Minimum qualifications include holding, or meeting the qualifications to obtain, an unrestricted ATP certificate and having at least one unrestricted PIC type rating.
- Candidates must have a strong passion for teaching, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
- Participation in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program and authorization to live and work in the United States are required.
- Physical requirements include hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, the ability to sit in a confined simulator for 4–6 hours with limited breaks, the ability to stand for up to 10 hours with limited breaks, and the ability to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn as required.
- Preferred qualifications include business-aircraft and single-pilot flying experience, prior instructional or training experience, the ability to tailor instruction to a diverse global customer base, and strong attention to detail when maintaining records in compliance with CAE and FAA requirements.
