About This Role
Life Flight Network, a prominent not-for-profit air ambulance organization, is seeking an experienced Float Fixed Wing Pilot to operate Pilatus PC-12 aircraft for critical patient transport in the Boise, ID area. This is a full-time float position covering open shifts due to line pilot vacations and leave, with seven shifts guaranteed per pay period. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years as a professional pilot with 2500 hours PIC time, including 1500 turbine hours and experience with retractable gear aircraft. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years professional pilot experience
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate required
- 2500 hours PIC time minimum
- 1000 hours in aircraft with retractable gear
- 1500 hours turbine time
- 500 hours turbo prop aircraft experience
- 250 hours instrument time
- 250 hours unaided night time experience
- Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
- Valid driver's license with automobile in good repair
- Proof of auto insurance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 25 hours PC-12 experience with ground and flight school completion within last 12 months (preferred)
- Single Engine ATP certificate (SE ATP) required at time of hire or by initial training
- Mountain flying experience (preferred)
- Recent air medical transportation experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or related field (preferred)
- Subject to drug screening and background investigation
