Joby Aviation's Flight Research team seeks an experienced remote pilot to operate R&D UAS platforms in support of autonomy and flight test operations. Requires Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate, Part 61 Private Pilot with Instrument rating, and 3+ years relevant UAS experience with 300+ flight hours. Requirements
- Part 61 Private Pilot certificate with Instrument rating
- Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate
- Current Class 3 Medical Certificate
- Experience operating Group 3+ UAS
- Experience with manual (non-GPS) and augmented flight modes using traditional RC controller interface
- Fully automated remote flight experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and training
- At least 3 years of relevant UAS experience
- Significant UAS experience: >300 hours, >200 sorties
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work extended hours and travel as required
- English proficiency (read and speak)
- Must qualify as US Person per 22 C.F.R. § 120.15
- Must meet US export control compliance requirements
