About This Role
Vista America is recruiting a Flight Operations Manager for its Challenger fleet. This permanent full-time role is based in Columbus, Ohio, with a hybrid work arrangement and travel to CMH, DJT, TEB and VNY as listed by the employer. The manager oversees pilot welfare, crewing, safety, operational performance and compliance. Current Challenger Captain or Check Airman status and previous management experience are preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage pilot performance, staffing, schedules, fatigue and welfare.
- Oversee Challenger fleet operations, maintenance coordination, flight reviews and operating procedures.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and coordinate with operations, technical and administrative teams.
Requirements
- Extensive pilot experience, including international operations.
- Current first-class medical certificate and unrestricted worldwide travel.
- No accidents, incidents or FAA enforcement actions in the preceding five years.
- Valid driving licence and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and scheduled company holidays.
- Knowledge of Jet Select’s GOM, OpSpecs and applicable FAA regulations.
- U.S. work authorization.
- Recent experience: 150 flight hours in the preceding 365 days and 30 in the preceding 90 days.
- Leadership, analytical, communication, organisational and remote-team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Challenger Check Airman or Captain.
- Previous management experience.
