About This Role
CAE is seeking Flight Instructors to deliver high-quality flight, simulator, and ground instruction to students in compliance with CAE Global Academy Training standards, Safety standards, quality standards, company directives, and applicable aviation-authority regulations. The position is focused on helping students achieve course objectives while developing professional behavior, disciplined attitudes, and strong theoretical and practical flying knowledge. Instructors are also responsible for safety-management execution, student progress monitoring, training administration, aircraft status reporting, and continuous improvement of instructional quality and safety. The role is temporary and fixed-term.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Flight Instructor delivers practical flight, simulator, and ground training while strictly following applicable Training and Safety Standards, CGA Quality standards, the Safety Management System, and other company directives. The instructor monitors, plans, and assists students so they progress satisfactorily through their courses within established timelines, reporting proactively and taking action to prevent delays or unsatisfactory progress. Duties include promoting safe behavior, ensuring students understand and practice all aspects of the CGA Safety Management System, and completing student and flight-related administration and records accurately and on time, including examination planning. - monitor the technical and internal status and cleanliness of assigned aircraft
- report discrepancies to responsible personnel
- attend administrative, standardization, instructor-development, and in-service training meetings
- participate in open days and trade shows when requested
- and identify improvements to practical instruction and Training Standards. Key performance indicators include student first-attempt pass rates on check rides and examinations and client feedback ratings.
Requirements
- Applicants must have no aircraft accident or aviation violation convictions and hold a current Commercial Pilot License.
- They must meet the minimum requirements specified in the applicable Training Standards and by local aviation authorities, and must have English at ICAO Level 4.

- Knowledge of MS Word and MS Outlook is listed among the required skills.
- A Flight Instructor Qualification, previous trainer or teacher experience, and additional languages are advantages rather than stated mandatory requirements.
