About This Role
Qatar Aeronautical Academy is recruiting Flight Instructors to provide flight training to aviation students. Candidates must hold valid ICAO/FAA/EASA ATPL or CPL with instrument rating and unrestricted flight instructor rating. Minimum requirements include 1500 total flying hours and 1000 hours as a flight instructor. Experience with Diamond Aircraft and G1000 avionics is advantageous. This role offers an opportunity to shape the next generation of pilots in a professional aviation training environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct flight instruction to aviation students
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight briefings
- Assess student pilot competency
- Mentor students in instrument flying techniques
- Maintain training records and progress documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in aviation related field
- Valid ICAO/FAA/EASA ATPL or CPL with valid IR(A) and unrestricted FI(A)
- Valid medical - Class I certificate
- Minimum 1500 total flying hours
- Minimum 1000 hours total flight time as a flight instructor
- At least 80 hours of instrument flight time
- Minimum 300 hours of instrument instruction time
- At least 4 years of aviation experience with minimum 2 years in flight instruction
- ICAO Level 4 (or higher) certificate of aviation language competency in English
- Excellent organization, communication, and computer skills
