About This Role
Lynn University's College of Aeronautics is hiring a Flight Instructor in Boca Raton to deliver FAA Part 141 flight, simulator and ground training. The instructor teaches approved courses, evaluates student progress, maintains training records and helps ensure safe ground and flight operations across the university fleet. Candidates need a current CFI or CFII certificate, a current FAA medical and the flight experience required by Part 141. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and the role suits an instructor who can combine consistent regulatory compliance with clear coaching and accurate documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with ensuring safe flight and ground operations of Lynn University aircraft.
- Train students in all part 141 approved ground and flight course.
- Provide flight simulator and ground instruction in accordance with Lynn University COA, FAA regulations, and procedures.
- Maintain student records and ensure course standards, training requirements and objectives are met.
Requirements
- Current CFI or CFII rating with current FAA medical.
- Flight experience as required by CFR Part 141.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four university or college (preferred).
