About This Role
GreyBird Pilot Academy is seeking a full-time Flight Instructor to support its commercial pilot training programme. The role involves primarily providing airborne instruction, with occasional classroom and simulator teaching, and is based across the academy's seasonal flying locations at Aarhus Airport in Denmark and Córdoba Airport in Spain. Instructors help maintain the high quality of training expected by students while working in a cooperative, professional, and structured environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Flight Instructor will conduct teaching primarily while flying aboard the aircraft.
- The role may also include occasional teaching in the classroom or simulator.
- Instructors are responsible for helping GreyBird fulfil students' high expectations for the quality of commercial pilot education through challenging and engaging instruction.
What We Offer
GreyBird offers monthly pay determined by qualification and seniority, along with a pension and private healthcare. The position includes a predictable schedule, a seasonal split base between Denmark and Spain, and the possibility of flying across most of Europe, particularly Denmark and Spain. The academy provides individual and extensive introduction training, thorough and individualised onboarding, and a bonding arrangement with monthly depreciation. Instructors work on a 50/50 rotation between Aarhus and Córdoba while residing permanently in either Denmark or Spainaccommodation is provided when working in the non-residential country.
Requirements
- Applicants should hold an EASA ATPL or CPL together with a flight instructor certificate.
- The academy also expects good technical and academic knowledge, the ability to work in a structured manner with a strong focus on quality, experience working with people, and the willingness to educate in a constructive and professional way.
- Candidates should have a cooperative and welcoming attitude as well as basic IT knowledge.
