About This Role
Hanseo University Flight Education Center, Asia's largest flight training organization, is seeking FAA-certified flight instructors for their fixed-wing department based in Taean, South Korea. The center trains undergraduate students and others to FAA standards from a coastal airfield facility near Seoul. Candidates must hold an FAA CFI/CFII certificate with a minimum of 250 hours total flight time (500+ preferred) and 100+ hours within the last 12 months. The position offers a base salary of $36,000/year plus over-time pay at $30/hour for flights exceeding 50 monthly hours, along with free furnished accommodation, health and dental insurance, and annual leave with a round-trip flight ticket.

  • Provide flight training to undergraduate students and others
  • Provide ground training to undergraduate students and others
  • Conduct flight instruction to FAA standards
  • Log minimum 50 flight hours per month

Requirements
  • FAA CFI/CFII - Airplane certificate
  • MEI (Multi-Engine Instructor) preferred
  • Valid FAA Medical Certificate
  • Minimum 250 hours total flight time (500+ preferred)
  • Minimum 100 hours within the last 12 months
  • Accident/Incident free record
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Excellent command of oral and written English
  • Must log at least 50 flight hours per month
