About This Role
Rise Air is hiring casual Flight Attendants in Saskatoon to provide safe, professional, and welcoming passenger service across Saskatchewan. The role includes paid Transport Canada-approved ground training, examinations, and line indoctrination, with compensation increasing from $20.00 per hour during training to $27.00 per hour after qualification. Casual employees work flexible shifts and may have future opportunities to move into part-time or full-time positions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to the direction of the Pilot-in-command during in-flight duties and responsibilities.
- Coordinate and provide cabin, ground, and in-flight passenger services while meeting company customer service standards.
- Perform ongoing safety duties in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations, including cabin checks, announcements, and escorting passengers to and from the aircraft during boarding and deplaning.
- Complete pre-flight safety checks before departure, attend and participate in pre-flight crew briefings, and remain prepared for emergency evacuations or critical incidents with passenger safety as the priority.
- Attend and actively participate in all required regulatory and company training.
- Prepare and submit flight documents and reports, advise the Pilot in command of abnormal incidents or events, and prepare written reports when required.
- Keep manuals current, follow company bulletins and directives, carry the flight attendant manual on all flights, and advise the Cabin Safety Manager of matters that could affect company operations.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a high school diploma and one to two years of progressive customer service experience.
- Previous aviation work experience or training is preferred.
- First Aid/CPR C certification, other safety-related training, and working knowledge of the Dene and/or Cree languages are assets.
- Because this is a safety-sensitive position, selected candidates must test negative for designated drug and alcohol tests before employment.
- Successful candidates must attend and successfully complete initial and annual Transport Canada-approved training and examinations as a condition of employment, including achieving a minimum score of 85% on all written examinations.
- Candidates must also complete the recruitment process, including application screening, interviews, and reference checks.
