PSA Airlines is hiring Flight Attendants to support safe, efficient flight operations and deliver professional customer service across its assigned domiciles. The role assists the Captain, completes cabin safety and security procedures, maintains required records, and supports compliance with applicable aviation regulations and company standards. Duties & Responsibilities
- The Flight Attendant assists the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight from planning through termination and complies with applicable FARs, TSA and DOT regulations, company procedures, and policies.
- Duties include completing all assignments from the company or Captain, inspecting cabin emergency equipment before flight, promptly reporting mechanical discrepancies, and clearly communicating safety concerns to the Captain.
- The role requires strong crew coordination, professionalism, efficient and cordial conduct while on duty, and completion of required records and reports.
- The Flight Attendant is responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System and related Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs, and performs other duties supporting efficient department and company operations.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and either a college education or two years of customer service experience. They must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- be at least 20 years old
- and be able to relocate or commute to an assigned domicile. Height must be between 5 feet 2 inches and 6 feet with shoes. Applicants must possess a valid U.S. or foreign passport with applicable visas and, if hired, must demonstrate authorization to work in the United States. Employees must also pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check under 49CFR1542.209 and a pre-employment drug screen. The physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds, handling objects, and reaching with the hands and arms.
