About This Role
Breeze Airways is hiring Part Time Flight Attendants for the New Orleans (MSY) base with a guaranteed minimum of 37.5 flying hours per month. Starting at $25/hour with increases over 8 years, plus benefits including 401K, travel perks, and paid training. Candidates must live within two hours of the airport and have unrestricted U.S. work authorization and travel ability.

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance
- Must have adequate head clearance in aircraft cabin
- Able to sit and buckle into E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English language
- Ability to pass vision and hearing test
- Legal right to work in the United States without restrictions
- Legal right to travel without restriction to/from the United States
- Current passport with minimum 6 months remaining before expiration
- Able to serve alcoholic beverages
- Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Able to live within 2-hour driving distance from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to close overhead bins with push/pull force of approximately 50 pounds
- Able to push/pull beverage and food carts with maximum force of approximately 60 pounds
- Able to assist disabled passengers using inflight wheelchair
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check
- Must pass Breeze background check
- Must complete initial Flight Attendant training
- Neat, well-groomed appearance
- Service-oriented with positive attitude
- Able to work independently as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Skilled in handling difficult situations and conflict de-escalation
- Tattoos allowed if within company guidelines (size and placement restrictions apply)
- Nose piercings allowed (single 2mm stud only, silver/gold/gemstone)
- No other facial piercings allowed
- No teeth embellishments while in uniform
- Maximum two earrings per ear while in uniform
- Willing to relocate based on operational needs if applicable
- Willing to undergo security screening training
- Complete Autism Awareness Training
- No previous positive or refused drug/alcohol test with DOT employer
