About This Role
JSX is seeking a Flight Attendant for its Miami-Opa Locka (OPF) crew base to deliver a simple, reliable and joyful customer experience while maintaining cabin safety and emergency readiness. The role includes aircraft preparation, equipment and cabin checks, safety briefings, in-flight customer and crew service, and calm, professional responses to routine and emergency situations, including evacuations and assistance for people who may need special assistance. The position is open only to local candidates, with no relocation available, and includes health, travel, retirement-match and paid-time-off benefits.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Flight Attendant creates a simple, reliable and joyful experience for every customer while keeping safety in mind, learns the proper use of cabin equipment and controls, and remains knowledgeable about assignments, functions and responsibilities during ditching and evacuation, including assistance for people who may need special assistance. Before boarding, the Flight Attendant ensures the aircraft is clean, fully stocked and prepared for customers. They check that emergency equipment, life vests, oxygen masks and other supplies are present and working properly

- and confirm with the Captain that the aircraft is ready for departure. During flight, they provide attentive service to customers and crew while remaining vigilant and prepared to respond to any situation. They apply their training and remain calm, confident, professional and caring during routine duties and emergency scenarios. Other responsibilities may be assigned, and duties may change because of emergencies, workload changes, rush jobs or technical developments.
Requirements
- Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of face-to-face customer service experience, strong verbal communication skills and fluent English. Candidates must hold a current and valid driver's license and passport, be at least 21 years old, and be between 5'0" and 5'8" without shoes because of the aircraft size. They must also be able to sit comfortably in the assigned jumpseat without an extension or modification and have no visible tattoos or body piercings.
