About This Role
Summit Air is seeking experienced Flight Attendants in Montreal to support its expanding Quebec fleet and new markets. The role is responsible for passenger safety, emergency assistance, regulatory compliance, customer service, cabin readiness, reporting, and supporting on-time departures. The position includes initial three to four weeks of training in Calgary, work three to four days per week, and reserve coverage with 24/7 availability during the week. Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft by following Company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct pre-flight safety checks, demonstrate safety procedures, monitor the cabin for signs of distress, and assist passengers during emergencies such as evacuations or medical emergencies.
- Welcome passengers and engage with them throughout the flight to create a comfortable and friendly environment, assist with seating, serve food and beverages, maintain cabin cleanliness and orderliness, and ensure adequate commissary stock is available onboard for the next shift or flight.
- Complete and submit required safety reports, including SMS reports, ensure the general orderliness of the aircraft, and assist with the on-time departure of every operated flight.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
- Previous Flight Attendant experience is an asset but not required.
- Candidates must stay current and trained on relevant aircraft, be able to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance, and be comfortable working in confined spaces and at high altitudes in a pressurized cabin.
- Initial training lasts three to four weeks in Calgary, Alberta.
- The work schedule is three to four days per week with reserve coverage and 24/7 availability during the week.
