About This Role
TUI fly is seeking a Flight Attendant for its Munich base to deliver excellent customer service while prioritising passenger safety. The role is full-time, fixed-term for up to 12 months after successful training, with potential continuation, and requires flexible shift work within a 24/7 flight operation. The package includes comprehensive paid training, discounted and worldwide travel benefits, a uniform, airport parking, an average of 11 days off per month, collective-agreement pay of €2,471.45 gross plus onboard sales commission, and occupational pension provision after permanent employment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Flight Attendant creates exceptional customer experiences through a sales-through-service approach and helps passengers reach their destination with a smile.
- Passenger safety is the primary responsibility, requiring the conscientious application of safety, first-aid and service procedures and consistent compliance with all requirements.
- The role involves building trust quickly with passengers and colleagues through empathy and confident conduct, supporting teammates with a positive and committed attitude, and contributing to a welcoming onboard environment.
- Crew members must manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently, remain calm and focused under pressure, adapt to roster changes, new technologies and unexpected onboard situations, and support positive teamwork and cooperation.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old on 31 January 2027 and must be able to reach a minimum total height of 1.89 metres with an outstretched arm, barefoot and standing flat-footed.
- They must be able to perform all prescribed duties, including fully fastening the shoulder harness on a flight attendant seat, and must be able to swim at least 25 metres.
- Candidates must be willing to complete the required aptitude tests and occupational or aviation medical examinations before and during employment, including the G35 examination where applicable.
- Good German and English skills at CEFR B2 level are required.
- The role involves shift work within a 24/7 flight programme, and candidates must be able to report to their base in uniform within 60 minutes.
- Applicants must hold a passport valid for at least six months from the start of the course and permitting unrestricted travel from and to Germany to all TUI fly destinations without additional authorisation.
- Successful applicants must also undergo a security check (ZÜP).
