About This Role
TUI is seeking Flight Attendants for its Düsseldorf operation to deliver welcoming passenger service while maintaining the highest standards of onboard safety. The role combines safety, first aid, service, sales-through-service and guest care, with full-time shift work in a 24/7 flight programme. Employment is fixed-term for up to 12 months after successful training, with prospects of continued employment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Flight Attendant creates exceptional customer experiences through a sales-through-service approach and helps passengers reach their destination with a positive attitude.
- Passenger safety comes first: the role requires responsible implementation of safety, first-aid and service procedures and consistent compliance with all applicable instructions.
- The Flight Attendant builds trust quickly with guests and colleagues through empathy and confident conduct, supports the team through a positive and committed approach, and contributes to a pleasant onboard working environment.
- Flexibility is essential, including responding calmly and constructively to roster changes, new technologies and unexpected situations onboard while supporting effective teamwork.
- The role also requires delivering exceptional customer service, managing multiple priorities, solving problems independently and remaining calm and focused under pressure.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old on 31 January 2027.
- They must be able to reach a minimum total height of 1.89 metres with an outstretched arm, standing barefoot with flat feet on the floor, and must be able to perform all required duties, including fully fastening the shoulder harness while seated in a flight attendant seat.
- Candidates must be able to swim at least 25 metres, complete the required aptitude tests and occupational or aviation medical examinations before and during employment, including the G35 examination where applicable, and demonstrate good German and English skills at CEFR B2 level.
- Applicants must be able to work shifts within a 24/7 flight programme and reach their base in uniform within 60 minutes.
- They must hold a passport valid for at least six months from the start of the course and permitting unrestricted travel from and to Germany to all TUI fly destinations without additional authorisation.
- Successful applicants must undergo a security screening (ZÜP).
