About This Role
GoJet Airlines is hiring Flight Attendants for their Newark, NJ base to work on United Express regional flights. No previous experience required; candidates must have customer service skills and a strong commitment to safety and exceptional service. Requirements
- Minimum 19 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years customer service experience preferred
- Valid passport, driver's license or state ID, and Social Security card required
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Legal right to travel unrestricted to/from all US states and Canada
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); able to make announcements and give emergency orders
- Able to live within 90 miles (1.5 hours) of Newark, NJ base
- Able to attend 6 weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO
- Able to work reserve duty with on-call availability
- Professional and conservative appearance required
- No visible tattoos or body piercings on hands, face, neck, or visible in business attire
- Must adhere to uniform standards and guidelines
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, push-pull and lift heavy objects
- Able to work in confined spaces and deal with turbulence and varying noise levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts
- Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends
