About This Role
Flight Attendant at Avelo Airlines, a low-fare US carrier. As part of the 'One Crew' team you ensure safety, security and an exceptional customer experience on every flight. Scheduled service is local day trips with no overnights; base assignment required. New Haven (HVN) and other Avelo bases.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety, security, welfare and comfort of all customers and crew
- Respond safely and effectively to in-flight emergencies; complete safety/incident reporting
- Create a caring customer experience and serve as an ambassador of the Avelo brand
- Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations and all applicable laws and procedures
- Attend all training and maintain qualifications set by Inflight Leadership
- Contribute to Avelo's onboard service, sales and revenue initiatives

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid US passport (6+ months validity) with unrestricted travel to/from all Avelo cities incl. Canada
- Understand, speak, read and write English fluently
- Reliable transportation; able to report to assigned base within 2 hours
- Able to relocate to a base assignment at own expense after training
- Work a rotating schedule with up to 16-hour duty days incl. nights, weekends and holidays
- Successfully complete all Avelo Flight Attendant training
- Comply with DOT/FAA drug & alcohol regulations for safety-sensitive employees
- Lift 50 lbs ground-to-waist; push/pull doors/carts up to 100 lbs; vision 20/40 corrected
