About This Role
Virgin Atlantic seeks First Officers and Senior First Officers to operate Airbus aircraft on long-haul routes from London Heathrow. Candidates must have a minimum of 1500 hours for First Officer or 3000 hours for Senior First Officer on multi-pilot turbojets or turboprops. Applicants must be type-rated on A320, A330, A340, A350, or A380 with an unfrozen UK ATPL and current Class One Medical. Requirements
- Minimum 1500 hours flight time (First Officer) or 3000 hours (Senior First Officer) on multi-pilot turbojet/turboprop aircraft with MTOW ≥10 tonnes or >19 passenger seats
- Current type rating on A320, A330, A340, A350, or A380
- Hold current UK Class One Medical Certificate
- Unfrozen ATPL licence issued by UK CAA with valid type rating upon joining
- ICAO Level 6 English Proficiency certification
- For military applicants: prior experience on C17 Globemaster, A330 Voyager, Poseidon, A400M Atlas, RC-135, Wedgetail AEW, or Envoy IV
