Vista America is seeking a home-based First Officer for G-IV/G450 business-aviation operations. The role combines flight-deck performance with problem solving, brand representation and iconic luxury passenger service, supported by a global team. It reports to the Flight Operations Manager and offers opportunities to progress to larger aircraft and leadership positions while retaining the same seniority number within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As a First Officer with Vista America, support service and operational excellence on the G-IV/G450 while acting as a skilled problem solver, brand ambassador and helpful team member.
- Work within the global team to provide iconic, luxury service to passengers and report to the Flight Operations Manager.
- The role is designed to support continued professional growth, including progression to larger aircraft and future leadership opportunities.
What We Offer
The package includes a guaranteed first-year base pay of $112,600, potential total compensation of $155,050, extra-day pay, monthly flight-hour incentives, paid training days, and retention bonuses after three, six and nine years of service.Pilots receive $75 per day domestic and $120 per day international per diem, plus a choice of additional vacation time alongside the 15/13 schedule or a $10,000 vacation-in-lieu bonus.Quality-of-life provisions include home basing, a stable 15/13 schedule published 12 months in advance, training scheduled six months ahead, fleet progression while retaining the same seniority number, and continuous access to pilot leadership, chief pilots and Flight Operations Managers.Additional support includes 24/7 operational-control-center assistance, a safety management system and Just Culture program, a fatigue-management program, training investment above FAA and industry requirements, mobile response maintenance teams, an aircraft refurbishment program, hotel and travel points, positive-space travel on the first and last day of the schedule, premium health, dental and vision plans, a company-provided phone, credit card and uniform, and a 401(k) program with company matching.
Requirements
- The G-IV/G450 minimums require an ATP Certificate, 2,000 hours of fixed-wing flight time, 500 hours of PIC time and 250 hours of multi-engine jet experience.
- Holding the aircraft type rating is preferred rather than stated as mandatory.
- Applicants must hold a current First Class Medical Certificate, have no more than two checkride failures, and have no accidents, incidents or FAA enforcement actions in the previous five years.
- They must meet ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 requirements for aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot, be authorized to work in the United States, and be authorized to travel to and from all served cities and countries without restrictions.
- Recent-experience requirements are 150 flight hours in the previous 365 days and 30 hours in the previous 90 days.
