About This Role
NovaJet is hiring a First Officer for a Gulfstream G100 position based in Toronto at CYYZ, with the listed location in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a 12-month full-time contract supporting maternity leave coverage. The role operates within NovaJet’s Canadian charter, aircraft management and maintenance organization, with access to 24/7 flight operations and maintenance oversight through the NovaJet Operations Control Center. Flight release, trip planning and real-time decision support are provided so pilots can focus on conducting safe and efficient missions and delivering a safe, welcoming flight experience for clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as First Officer on NovaJet’s Gulfstream G100 operation supporting charter and aircraft-management missions from Toronto CYYZ.
- Execute assigned missions safely and efficiently while helping provide a safe and welcoming flight for clients.
- Work within NovaJet’s 24/7 flight operations and maintenance oversight structure, using flight release, trip-planning and real-time decision-support resources provided by the NovaJet Operations Control Center.

Requirements
- Applicants must have 1,000 hours of total flight time and 100 hours of multi-engine experience.
- A Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL-A) is required, together with either IATRA or completion of the ATPL examinations within the previous 24 months.
- Candidates must hold a Category I medical certificate and Group 1 IFR privileges.
- The position also requires the ability to obtain a RAIC security pass, pass a satisfactory criminal record check, obtain approval from the United States TSA to initiate training, and hold a Canadian passport.
- Five hundred hours of PIC time is preferred.
- An aviation diploma or degree is an asset.
