About This Role
First Officer position on the Cessna 208 Caravan (C-208) with Southern Airways Express (part of Surf Air Mobility), based solely at Kahului (OGG) in Hawaii. This is a Part 135 commuter flying role reporting to the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations, with a route network that lets most pilots be home every day during their workweek. Compensation is paid per block hour on a tiered scale that rises from $16 to $21 with accumulated experience, backed by a 65 block-hour monthly guarantee, paid training, and a full benefits package.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as First Officer on the Cessna 208 Caravan (C-208) for the operator's scheduled commuter flying, based only at Kahului (OGG), Hawaii, reporting to the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations.
- The route structure allows most pilots to return home each day during their workweek, and the position carries a guarantee of 65 block hours per month beginning on the first day of the training class.

Pay is per block hour on a tiered scale — $16 per block hour during training and once released to the line under 600 hours, $18 per block hour for 600-900 hours, and $21 per block hour beyond 900 hours — supported by a 65 block-hour monthly guarantee that starts on the first day of training class, along with paid training. Requirements
- Applicants must hold a current FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with an Instrument rating and a single-engine land rating, and have at least 6 months of experience as a pilot. A minimum of 500 total flight hours is required, including 100 hours cross-country (of which 25 must be night) and either 50 hours turbine or 75 hours instrument. A current FAA Second-Class Medical certificate is required (must be current before training), along with a Radio Operator's certificate and a valid US passport (needed for CASS). Candidates must be at least 18 years old
