Etihad Airways is recruiting an A330 First Officer to support safe, secure and efficient flight operations from Abu Dhabi. Duties & Responsibilities
- As a First Officer with Etihad, you will be a key member of the flight deck team, supporting the Captain in the safe, secure and efficient operation of every flight. Responsibilities include assisting the Captain with flight preparation, navigation and aircraft operation in accordance with Etihad procedures and regulatory standards
- independently monitoring aircraft position, terrain and weather
- providing clear communication, advice and decision support to the Captain
- maintaining high standards of discipline, conduct and personal appearance
- and assuming command in accordance with rank and company procedures if the Captain becomes incapacitated.
What We Offer

Requirements
- Applicants must have a minimum of 2,500 hours total flying time, including at least 1,500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit MPA and 1,000 hours on type.
- Candidates must have flown an A330 family aircraft within the previous 12 months and hold an A330 type rating valid for at least two more months at the time of joining.
- The role accepts an unrestricted ATPL or valid frozen ATPL issued by an ICAO member state.
- Applicants also need an unrestricted current Class 1 medical, must be under 50 on the joining date, and must demonstrate written and verbal English fluency at ICAO Level 4 or better.
- Frozen ATPL holders must provide their ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Exam results and an integrated ATPL course completion certificate.
