About This Role
CAE Simuflite is hiring a Falcon EASy Instructor Pilot in Dallas, Texas to develop pilot skill and confidence through high-quality simulator and ground training. The instructor leads training sessions, delivers thorough pre- and post-flight briefings, and serves as a subject matter expert across the assigned Dassault Falcon EASy platform, supporting customers through licence, type-rating, certificate and internal qualification training. After approximately 1.5+ years, and subject to business need, the instructor may qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman. The role suits an experienced business-aviation pilot who wants to stay active in the flight deck while teaching, and CAE provides a comprehensive instructor development programme to make the transition from pilot to world-class instructor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, the CAE curriculum and customer expectations.
- Conduct professional, comprehensive pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development.
- Perform administrative duties such as completing training records, maintaining instructional qualifications and recommending remedial training when needed.
- Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licences, type ratings, certificates and internal qualifications.
- After approximately 1.5+ years (subject to business need), qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.

Requirements
- Minimum qualifications: hold an unrestricted ATP certificate or have completed the ATP Written
- an unrestricted PIC type rating is preferred. FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000+ total flight hours are preferred, and experience flying business aircraft is highly desired. Candidates need basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and internet-based programs), must participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program, and must have strong communication skills and a passion for teaching. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred qualifications include prior instructional or training experience, the ability to tailor training content to a diverse customer base, strong attention to detail with a commitment to accurate recordkeeping in accordance with CAE and FAA standards, a demonstrated customer-service mindset that creates a positive learning environment, and professional character with strong verbal and written communication skills. Physical demands include frequently ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and poles, occasionally moving into confined spaces, remaining stationary (standing or sitting) for prolonged periods, occasionally moving objects up to 20 lbs, and performing repetitive wrist, hand and finger motions.
