About This Role
Milskil, an Australian provider of high-end training and support services to the ADF, is recruiting for a permanent, full-time F-35 Pilot Instructor. The successful candidate will lead advanced F-35A pilot training at RAAF Williamtown (Newcastle, NSW) and RAAF Tindal (Katherine, NT); the company is seeking Weapons Qualified Pilots or highly proficient tactical-fighter instructor subject-matter experts, and will provide a transition onto the F-35. The role supports Australia's 5th Generation Air Combat Capabilities and the next generation of military warfighters.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The primary duty is to lead the delivery of advanced F-35A pilot training at RAAF Williamtown (Newcastle, NSW) and RAAF Tindal (Katherine, NT).
- The instructor will bring weapons-qualified and tactical-fighter expertise to Milskil's high-end operational training environment, working with a team fully integrated with the ADF to help build the next generation of military warfighters and Australia's 5th Generation Air Combat Capabilities.

Requirements
- Essential background is one of: RAAF FCI/AWI qualifications
- RAAF QFI/OFI recognised as a tactical expert
- or a US military equivalent of Weapons Officer or Instructor Pilot. Candidates need significant 4th-5th generation fast-jet experience and qualifications, a current Defence NV2 security clearance (or US equivalent), and the ability to attain PV. They must be an Australian or US citizen and have a strong desire to contribute to the development and expansion of Australia's 5th Generation Air Combat Capabilities. Previous JSF experience is desirable but not essential. The posting also asks for a desire to live in one of the most family-friendly locations in Australia.
