About This Role
CAE is expanding its Copenhagen instructional team for the Embraer fleet. The Simulator Flight Instructor role delivers high-quality training for initial type ratings, conversion courses, and refresher training, while supporting training standards, courseware, and simulator effectiveness. The work combines ground-school and full-flight simulator instruction with regulatory compliance, training documentation, standards reporting, and device quality checks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct ground-school and full-flight simulator instruction for the Embraer fleet.
- Deliver effective and compliant training in accordance with regulatory and company standards, and participate in the continuous development and improvement of training programmes and materials.
- Report deviations from standards to the Head of Standards, maintain accurate training records and documentation, and assist with quality checks on training devices.
Requirements
- Applicants should have strong instructional skills and excellent operational and technical knowledge of Embraer aircraft.
- An ATPL or CPL is accepted, including having held one previously, and previous civil instructional experience is highly desirable.
- Part-FCL knowledge and instructional proficiency are required.
- The role also requires effective communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to motivate and support learners in a professional training environment.
- TRI/TRE qualifications are an advantage for relevant applicants.
