About This Role
Scoot Pte Ltd is expanding its Embraer narrow-body operation and recruiting experienced turboprop Captains for direct entry to the E190 fleet in Singapore. The role is intended for pilots aspiring to transition from turboprops to commercial jets and combines left-seat command responsibility with strong safety leadership, operational discipline, reliable flight delivery, and development of fellow team members. Scoot also highlights work-life balance, predictable fixed roster patterns, and type-rating training for the assigned fleet where applicable, subject to the stated co-payment and training-bond conditions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As the Captain, you will sit in the left-hand seat, take command of the flight, and maintain the highest personal and professional standards.
- You will ensure that every flight is safe, comfortable, and on time.
- As a leader and team player, you will set the example and help develop Scoot team members so they can deliver the Scootitude experience to passengers.

Requirements
- Applicants without jet experience must have more than 4,000 total flight hours on aeroplanes with a maximum certificated take-off mass (MTMA) of 5,700 kg or more, including a minimum of 2,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours, excluding P1 U/S hours, on multi-engine turboprop commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation.
- Candidates must hold a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore-issued ICAO ATPL.
- Foreign ATPL holders must complete licence conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with a minimum of six months' validity.
- Applicants must demonstrate English speaking and comprehension at a minimum of ICAO Level 4 and satisfy all vaccination requirements set by CAAS.
