About This Role
Helvetic Airways, a Swiss short- and medium-haul scheduled and charter airline, is recruiting a Direct Entry Commander (Captain) for its Embraer E190-E1/E195-E1 and E190-E2/E195-E2 fleet. Home base is Zurich Airport. The offer includes financed type rating, average flight time of ~1.5 hours per leg with two to four flights per day, rolling planning with part-time models (40%/60%/80%) and OFF-wish options, instructor/management career opportunities, and travel benefits for the pilot and family.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Acts as Commander (Captain) on Embraer E190/E195 short-haul operations out of Zurich, clearly taking responsibility for own conduct, demonstrating strong leadership and teamwork, communicating clearly and reliably, and being competent in operationally relevant procedural areas (PANS OPS).
Requirements
- Min.
- 1,000 hrs as PIC on MP(A) - Operations CH, EU-25/EFTA or without EU/EFTA restrictions.
- Passport.
- Holder of an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with valid Instrument Rating (IR).
- Class 1 Medical.
- English: ICAO Level 4 or higher.
- German: an advantage.
