About This Role
Avelo Airlines is hiring Direct Entry Captains for B737NG operations. Requires 5000 total hours with 2000 turbine PIC and 1000 PIC on Part 121 operations. Must be a U.S. Citizen with current first-class medical certificate.
Requirements
- Valid first-class medical certificate with minimum three months validity at start date
- 5000 hours total fixed wing time (preferred)
- 2000 hours turbine PIC
- 1000 hours PIC on Part 121 operations
- Meets 14 CFR §121.436(a)(3) requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Valid and current U.S. Passport with at least six months to expiration
- Pass Department of Transportation pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work rotating schedule with variable hours up to 16-hour duty days
- Availability for nighttime/overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home
- Current ATPL license (implied)
- B737NG type rating required
