About This Role
Emirates is seeking experienced Direct Entry Captains for the Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger airliner. This is a permanent position based in Dubai, UAE, with an attractive tax-free compensation package totaling up to AED 1.185 million annually. Candidates must have a minimum of 7000 hours total flight time with 3000 hours PIC on Airbus FBW wide-body aircraft and must currently be flying as a Captain on these aircraft. This position provides a stable career with a 24-hour operation covering turnarounds, long-haul, and ultra long-haul routes with layover periods of 24-48 hours.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Airbus A380 on scheduled routes including turnarounds, long-haul, and ultra long-haul flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections, checks, and crew briefings
- Manage flight operations across 24-hour operations with trips ranging from 1-9 days in duration
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations
- Lead crew resource management on multi-sector flights

Requirements
- Valid ICAO ATPL license
- Unrestricted Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by the same authority as ATPL
- Minimum 7000 hours total flight time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft)
- Minimum 3000 hours PIC on Airbus FBW wide-body aircraft (A330/A340/A350/A380)
- Currently flying as Captain on Airbus FBW wide-body aircraft
- Minimum 150 hours in past 12 months on Airbus FBW wide-body as Captain
- A380 type rating required
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above
- Fluency in English equivalent to ICAO ELP Level 5 or higher
- Eligible to live and work in UAE
