About This Role
Buzz, part of the Ryanair Group, is recruiting experienced B737 Rated Captains to join Europe's largest airline group, with training commencing in winter. This is a Direct Entry Captain opportunity for highly motivated pilots with significant multi-crew jet experience to become part of a rapidly expanding operation across multiple European bases. Candidates must have a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours, 800 hours PIC on multi-crew jets, and 500 hours PIC specifically on B737-300 to -900 series with an active type rating. Requirements
- Valid EASA Part FCL Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) license
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
- Not over 65 years of age
- Valid EU (Part-MED) Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum 3,500 hours total flying time
- Minimum 2,000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft over 30,000kg MTOW with established airline, cargo operator, or Military transport
- Minimum 800 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft over 30,000kg
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on B737-300 to -900 series
- Valid B737-300-900 type rating on license
- Type rating must not have expired for longer than 3 years at course start date
- Must have operated B737-300-900 as Commander within 36 months prior to course start
- ICAO English Level 4 proficiency (operational level) including written proficiency
- Ability to pass enhanced background check
- Willingness to complete EASA Work-Related Behavioural Assessment (€60 fee applies)
