About This Role
Scoot is expanding its Airbus narrow-body operations and is recruiting Direct Entry A320 Captains for a Singapore-based assessment process. The role involves commanding flights from the left-hand seat, maintaining high personal and professional standards, and ensuring safe, comfortable and punctual operations. Captains are expected to lead by example, work collaboratively and help develop Scoot team members in delivering the Scootitude passenger experience. Duties & Responsibilities
- From the left-hand seat, take command of each flight and uphold the highest personal and professional standards.
- Lead the operation to ensure that every flight is safe, comfortable and on time.
- Act as a leader and team player, set a positive example and help develop Scoot team members so they can deliver the Scootitude experience to passengers.

Requirements
- Applicants must have more than 3,500 total flight hours on aeroplanes with an MTMA of 5,700 kg or more, including at least 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command time, excluding P1 U/S hours, on multi-engine jet commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation. The licensing requirement is a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore-issued ICAO ATPL
- holders of a foreign ATPL must complete license conversion, including an instrument rating and a proficiency check with at least six months of validity. Candidates must be able to speak and understand English at a minimum of ICAO Level 4 and satisfy all vaccination requirements required by CAAS. Desirable qualities include leadership, a passion for nurturing and guiding teammates, composure, confidence, maturity, a sense of humour and the Scootitude DNA. Shortlisted candidates complete online aptitude tests, followed by a Singapore Assessment Centre involving group and individual interviews
- successful candidates must then attend a two-day simulator and personality assessment.
