About This Role
Skybus, the airline of the Isles of Scilly Steamship Group, is seeking DHC-6 Twin Otter Captains for its UK and Guernsey based scheduled passenger, freight, mail and medevac operations. Bases at Land's End, Newquay and Southampton. Full time, immediate start, closing date 31 December 2026. The operating window is typically 07:00 to 20:00 with no time zone changes or deep night flying. Informal expressions of interest are invited first for suitability screening.

- Command responsibility on a specialist STOL aircraft
- UK and Guernsey based scheduled passenger, freight and mail operations
- Medevac missions across the British Isles

Requirements
- UK CAA licence and the right to work in the UK
- Experienced multi-crew airline pilot with prior turboprop or regional airline experience
- All prospective candidates must complete an application form as part of the recruitment process
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous or current Twin Otter experience
- Light multi-engine utility experience such as King Air, Shorts or BN-2 Islander
- Regional turboprop experience such as Saab 340, EMB-120, ATR or Dash 8
- Comparable STOL operations experience
