About This Role
Silver Air Private Jets is seeking a Falcon 900B Captain who will serve as Lead Captain and Aviation Resource Manager. The role combines safe and efficient private-jet flight operations with aircraft-owner liaison, crew leadership, maintenance coordination, scheduling, charter and owner-flight support, and oversight of the aircraft management plan. The position works with a dedicated three-pilot team and includes a personalized schedule, training, modern equipment, and comprehensive employee benefits.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As Lead Captain, the pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flights, including passenger, aircraft, and crew safety
- maintenance-status review
- proper pre-flight inspections
- compliance with Silver Air policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- flight planning
- fuel management
- weight and balance calculations
- weather and airport-facility checks, including alternates
- and accurate trip paperwork. As Aviation Resource Manager, the pilot liaises with the aircraft owner and Silver Air departments, leads and mentors assigned personnel, ensures the aircraft management plan and owner and charter goals are met, coordinates scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with the Maintenance Manager, keeps the aircraft stocked and mission ready, supports crewing and crew-plan development, participates in crew scheduling and Hard Days Off planning, manages internal and external resources efficiently, provides ARM training and guidance, and reviews monthly statement items with Accounting and Maintenance.

Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,500 hours total time in all aircraft, including 3,000 hours as PIC
- 3,000 hours of multi-engine time, including 2,000 hours as PIC
- and 200 hours in the aircraft type, including 100 hours as PIC. A total of 1,750 hours of turbine time is preferred. The candidate must be type rated on DA-50 or a comparable aircraft, hold a valid First Class Medical Certificate, comply with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.1.0 for aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot, and be able to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted commercial-pilot travel to and from Canada. Previous Part 135 experience is preferred but not required.
