About This Role
Battelle is seeking an experienced Corporate Pilot (Captain) for its Corporate Aviation team in Columbus, Ohio. The role provides safe, professional and reliable air transportation aboard the company's Falcon 50EX aircraft, operating as pilot-in-command with final authority and overall responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight. Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe conduct of flights in coordination with the other crew member, in accordance with FAA regulations and Battelle policy.
- When dispatched as pilot-in-command, hold final authority and overall responsibility for the safe conduct of the flight, and ensure each trip is conducted to best serve the needs of the passengers.
- Provide pre- and post-flight inspections of the aircraft to confirm airworthiness.
- When not engaged in flight, perform aviation duties related to general department activities, including record keeping and manual revisions.

The stated annual salary range is $157,500–$224,500.
Requirements
- Candidates must pass an FAA Class 1 Medical Exam and hold a valid passport.
- A minimum of 3,500 total logged flying hours is required, including 1,500 hours logged as a pilot in turbine-powered multi-engine aircraft.
- Applicants must be able to obtain an FAA type rating in the Falcon 50EX, which Battelle provides at its own expense, and must maintain pilot-in-command (PIC) currency in the Falcon 50EX.
