About This Role
ExecuJet Middle East, part of the Luxaviation Group, is seeking a Commander (Captain) on the Dassault Falcon 7X for its Flight Operations division, based in Dubai (DXB), UAE. ExecuJet delivers a comprehensive range of business aviation services with a strong emphasis on safety and a positive workplace culture. This is a non-commuting position requiring residence in, or relocation to, the United Arab Emirates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out the Commander's duties and responsibilities in accordance with the OM-A. Liaise with passengers or the aircraft owner when an aircraft defect or other operational issue may affect the aircraft's schedule. Take responsibility for the aircraft in accordance with EJME Operations Manuals, including operating procedures, SOPs, flight time limitations and safety. Remain familiar with company Operating Instructions/Company Memos and the civil aviation regulations under which the aircraft is registered, and operate accordingly. Take responsibility for all decisions made on board the aircraft, ensuring the aircraft paperwork is in order and the aircraft is airworthy before departure. Create a safe and professional on-board environment with emphasis on good CRM. Ensure passengers' travel documents are correct before departure, and hold ultimate responsibility for passengers and their adherence to flight attendant instructions
- when operating with inflight service personnel, ensure all briefings and cabin security checks are conducted by the Captain or assigned to the co-pilot. Brief passengers on journey time, en-route weather, possible delays and other pertinent details. Ensure the crew are presentable and never damage the reputation of ExecuJet Middle East or the Luxaviation Group. Report any abnormalities, events, incidents or accidents through the correct reporting channels. Actively promote and support a just management culture, and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures.
Requirements
- Hold an ATPL with a current Type Rating on the Falcon 7X. Minimum 4,000 hours total time, 1,000 hours PIC time, and 2,000 hours jet time, plus 500 hours on type. Applicants must hold an ATP license from the UK, an EASA member state, or an acceptable ICAO member state (e.g. FAA) with at least 4,000 hours total time including 2,000 hours jet time, and at least 1,000 hours PIC with a minimum of 500 hours on type. Must be recent, type rated and experienced on the Falcon 7X/8X as PIC. Hold a Class 1 Medical without restrictions. Corporate/business aviation experience is desirable. Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- additional languages are advantageous. Basic Microsoft Office skills. This is a non-commuting role requiring residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the UAE.
