About This Role
Talon Air is recruiting a Captain for a dedicated Citation Sovereign owner account combining Part 91 owner trips with Part 135 charter flying. The operator is headquartered in Farmingdale, New York, has operated for more than 25 years, and runs a fleet of 40+ aircraft including Global 6000/5000, Gulfstream 550/450, GV, G-IVSP, Challenger 604/605, Challenger 3500, Falcon 2000, Hawker 4000, G200, and Citation platforms. The role offers close work with the owner alongside the support and infrastructure of the management company; Texas is the preferred base, and most pilots are home-based and travel by airline to and from the aircraft for each rotation. Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient flight operations for domestic and international trip assignments under 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Maintain a high degree of crew coordination and perform duties professionally, efficiently, and cordially.
- Provide an exceptional experience for the aircraft owner and passengers while representing Talon Air professionally.
- Greet passengers and assist with seating and luggage storage, conduct passenger briefings, and respond to passenger requests and needs.
- Adhere to the duties and responsibilities in all company procedures manuals, maintain a current First Class Medical certificate as required by Talon Air policy, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Education and experience requirements include an ATP, 3000+ total flight hours, 1000+ multi-engine hours, 750+ PIC hours, and 150 instrument hours. The posting identifies 500+ MEL PIC hours and Part 135 experience as preferred. A Citation Sovereign type rating is preferred, but other highly qualified Captains with similar experience will also be considered. Applicants must hold an FAA First Class Medical and a valid passport. The role also calls for a team player who works well in a team environment
