About This Role
SkyShare is seeking a Citation CE-525 (M2) Captain for its Part 135 flight department. The captain will operate managed aircraft while delivering a high level of client service and safety, complying with FAA regulations and company procedures, and representing SkyShare's values of passion, teamwork, exceptional customer service, and proactive problem-solving. The position is based at the Ogden, Utah location, requires residence within one hour of the airport or relocation within two months, and involves extended trips, changing time zones, varied weather, overnight hotel stays, and flexible day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The captain will ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, SkyShare policies, checklists, and operating best practices while performing flight duties for a managed aircraft.
- Trips may require duty periods of up to 14 hours per day for as many as eight consecutive days, crossing multiple time zones and operating through substantially different weather conditions.
- The rotation includes a flexible mix of daytime, nighttime, weekday, weekend, and holiday assignments, as well as overnight trips involving several days and nights away from home in hotels.
- The role requires delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a professional presentation, managing fatigue and sleep effectively for flight readiness, working cooperatively across departments, solving operational challenges proactively, and safely handling animals and occasional items weighing up to 80 pounds.
What We Offer
The position offers an annual salary of $145,000 to $160,000 based on experience and time in type. It is a dedicated managed-aircraft position with a fluid schedule. Training includes an 18-month repayment contract broken down quarterly. Requirements
- Applicants must be current and qualified in the 525 series and hold an FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with the appropriate category and class. The posting requires at least 3,000 hours of total flight time, including 250 hours as PIC, 500 hours of multi-engine time, 300 hours of jet time, and 200 hours of instrument time. Candidates must hold a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate, FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit, FAA Instrument Rating, valid U.S. passport, and driver's license, and must maintain current IFR knowledge and experience. Garmin 1000/3000 experience and prior Part 135 experience are preferred. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must be able to pass TSA background checks and obtain an appropriate SIDA badge when applicable. The candidate must live within one hour of Ogden Airport or commit to relocating within two months
