About This Role
Jetvia is seeking a Cirrus SR22 Pilot based near Titusville, Florida, to support its executive aviation fleet by rapidly transporting people and aircraft parts to aircraft-on-ground locations across the Southeastern United States. The pilot must be able to become airborne within 60 minutes of the first call and may be required to remain at Jetvia's TIX Airport facility on peak days for immediate response. The role is intended for a pilot who wants to fly approximately 50 to 100 or more hours per month and includes a guaranteed pathway to a Learjet 60 second-in-command position after completing 500 hours with Jetvia.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The pilot conducts flight planning and reviews weather conditions at the destination, along the route, and at alternate airports. The role includes calculating and reviewing aircraft weight and balance, fuel planning, and aircraft performance data
- ensuring that pre-flight inspections are completed
- and serving as Pilot in Command. The pilot complies with schedules and other directives governing aircraft operations, supervises and directs the first officer, coordinates and monitors the functions of assigned crew members, and represents Jetvia when dealing with executive clients and other charter operators. The pilot also performs other duties as assigned and supports Jetvia's safety, passenger-service, and on-time operational standards.

Requirements
- Required qualifications include living or relocating within 30 minutes of TIX Airport, holding a first-class medical certificate, and having at least 500 hours of total flight time.
- Jetvia also seeks candidates who are well organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and strong in time management and customer relations.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Florida weather, experience flying in the Bahamas, previous Cirrus experience or a CSIP endorsement, and 1,000 hours of total time.
