About This Role
Vectored Approach is seeking an experienced Chief Pilot for its new FAA Part 135 private jet charter division. This pivotal role involves leading flight operations, ensuring FAA compliance, overseeing pilot training, and maintaining high safety and service standards for a luxury client base. The ideal candidate will have an ATP certificate, SF50 type rating, and significant Part 135 PIC experience.
Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate ratings for at least one aircraft used in operations
- Cirrus Vision Jet (SF50) type rating
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the past 6 years as Pilot-in-Command under Part 121 or Part 135 operations
- Strong knowledge of FAA Part 135 operational requirements and safety standards
- Proven leadership and management experience in flight operations
- No FAA violations, accidents, or incidents
- Availability for irregular schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
