About This Role
Beond is recruiting a Chief Pilot to establish and lead flight-crew standards and operational oversight for its new Saudi Arabia AOC under GACA, based in Riyadh. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role combines line-operations oversight, check-airman and crew competence management, crew discipline and mentoring, regulatory liaison, and support for the development of a premium leisure airline certificate from the ground up.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Chief Pilot owns flight-crew professional standards, SOPs, and crew standardisation
- oversees line operations, the check-airman programme, and crew currency and competence
- manages flight-crew discipline, mentoring, and continuous improvement of operating practices
- supports the Director of Operations and deputises on operational matters as required
- and interfaces with GACA on flight-crew standards.

Requirements
- This is a full-time management appointment under GACAR Part 121.45.
- The successful candidate must be acceptable to GACA's President based on experience, competence, and knowledge, with a full understanding of the GACAR, the operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements, and the operations manual, as referenced in GACAR 121.45(e) and (g).
- Mandatory qualifications include an ATP certificate with appropriate ratings for at least one aircraft type used in the operation, plus at least three years of experience within the past six years as pilot in command of a Part 121 aircraft for a first-time Chief Pilot.
- Desirable qualifications include Airbus A320/A321 family experience, a strong SOP-development and crew-standardisation record, fluent English, and Arabic as an advantage.
