About This Role
Chief Pilot for Pacific Sky Aviation, a corporate/private air-services operator based in Victoria, BC. The role supervises PSAI flight crew, develops SOPs under the Private Operations Manual and Canadian Aviation Regulations, serves as Training Captain, and performs Captain duties on at least two company turboprop types.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain oversight of client requirements
- perform the duties of Captain on at least two Pacific Sky aircraft types
- serve as Training Captain and manage initial and recurrent training programs
- oversee tracking of crew qualifications
- provide people leadership
- assume the General Manager - Corporate Flight Operations role during absences.
Requirements
- Current and valid: Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- Category 1 Medical Certificate
- Canadian Passport. Experience as a Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on one of the following aircraft types: Dash 8 400 DH8-400, King Air 350CER, Twin Otter 400 DHC6-400, Turbo Beaver DC2-T. Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations. Proven experience in a leadership role. Assets: Authorized Check Pilot

- Flight Instructor Rating.
