About This Role
Jazeera Airways Saudi Arabia is recruiting an experienced Chief Pilot reporting directly to the Director of Flight Operations. The role oversees all company flying activities, establishes operational controls and monitoring systems, and ensures safe, efficient operations compliant with GACA regulations, applicable GACAR requirements, Operations Specifications and company procedures. The Chief Pilot provides flight crew leadership and technical oversight, working with the Director of Flight Operations and other stakeholders to implement operational strategies, manage operational risks and improve flight safety, crew performance and operational standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Hold technical responsibility for the assigned fleet within authority delegated by the Director of Flight Operations. Control, manage and supervise flight crew, including their welfare and matters affecting daily operational and commercial activities. Guide and monitor fleet performance and services

Translate policies, strategies and objectives into long-, medium- and short-term operational plans. Oversee Operations Specifications Sections A, B and C and maintain compliance with their requirements. Ensure flight crew meet GACAR Part 121, GACA, Operations Manual, OpSpecs and other applicable requirements, keeping qualifications, licences, ratings, medical certificates, training, checking, recency and competency current.
- Monitor adherence to operational procedures, policies and safety standards and take corrective action when needed. Participate in investigations of incidents, accidents, occurrences and other flight-related events as assigned or required. Ensure timely, accurate reporting of incidents, accidents, hazards and operational occurrences to internal departments and regulatory authorities where applicable. Review investigation findings and implement or recommend corrective and preventive actions. Promote a proactive safety culture, escalate and address operational risks, and monitor fleet and crew performance to improve safety, reliability and efficiency. Coordinate with the Director of Flight Operations and other departments to resolve operational issues, maintain continuity of operations and develop initiatives that strengthen operational standards, crew performance and flight safety.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a GACA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and have at least 3 years of experience as pilot-in-command on A320 aircraft.
- Required competencies include knowledge of applicable regulations and requirements, the company Air Operator Certificate, Operations Specifications and the standards necessary to ensure safety, security and efficiency.
- Candidates must have good analytical, interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills, basic knowledge of incident and accident investigation concepts, and Advanced Safety Management System (SMS) and Human Factors (HF) training.
