About This Role
Chief Pilot for Freedom II Bermuda Limited, a small VIP charter flight department operating long-range Boeing 757 charters worldwide under a Bermuda Part 121 AOC. Hybrid role based in Florida, reporting to the Director of Operations. Responsible for flight crew oversight, standards, recruitment and onboarding support, BCAA validation paperwork, crew development, training coordination, rostering, and day-to-day operational leadership. Flying involves extended periods on the road followed by extended time at home.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the crew through positive, inclusive leadership
- operate Air Dolomiti aircraft safely and efficiently, ensuring punctuality, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards
- prepare and conduct flights in accordance with Air Dolomiti's operational directives
- actively cooperate with the crew, ground staff, and air traffic control
- continuously maintain and further develop professional skills
- act responsibly and in a sustainable manner
- contribute to the development of Air Dolomiti and its corporate culture.
Requirements
- Strong Boeing 757 experience
- International operating experience
- Sound judgment and the ability to lead by example
- Professional, approachable, calm under pressure, with strong people skills and discretion
- BCAA/OTAR experience helpful but not required
