About This Role
Rishworth Aviation is seeking a Chief Pilot to lead King Air 350i charter flight operations for a diversified aviation group in Papua New Guinea. The position is responsible for operational leadership, safety, regulatory compliance, efficiency, and crew performance across the country, while also supporting operational excellence and a strong safety culture. The Chief Pilot will serve as Pilot-in-Command when required, provide guidance to flight crews, and work on a 10 months on/ 2 months off rotation with company-provided accommodation, flights, and ground transportation while based in Papua New Guinea.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all King Air 350 flight operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
- Manage pilot recruitment, training, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure that all flight crew maintain current licenses, ratings, medical certificates, and required training.
- Develop, implement, and maintain company flight operations policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Investigate operational incidents and safety reports and implement corrective and preventative actions where required.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command when required and provide operational guidance to flight crews.

Requirements
- The posting requires an FAA ATPL and a King Air 350 type rating.
- Previous experience as a Chief Pilot, Flight Operations Manager, Training Captain, or in a similar leadership role is preferred.
- Candidates should have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and be able to adapt to rotational schedules and remote-base living conditions.
